Samuel M. Wilkes, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Since 1979, Sam has been either founder or co-founder of five software and services companies. His entrepreneurial background began in the early days of insurance agency automation. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and a Masters of Business Administration in International Marketing, both from the University of Florida.

Richard J. Mahany, Senior Vice President, Internal Operations

Dick has 30 years experience in high technology companies serving in a wide range of responsible positions in senior management and as a consultant. He has more than ten years experience in companies focused on transportation products and services.

Dick attended Iowa State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and was a member of Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi engineering honorary societies.

Michael N. Ferrara, Senior Vice President, Field Operations

Michael has been improving peoples’ safety and health for 20 years. Most of that work was at Johnson & Johnson, the largest health care company in the world as Worldwide Director of SAFE Fleet. Michael later founded The Driving Center, a full service driver safety company. The Driving Center merged with FleetRisk Advisors in 2008.

Michael holds an MBA in Global Management, B.S. in Occupational Safety & Health, and A.S. in Manufacturing Engineering. He is a New Jersey State Board Member for M.A.D.D., a Tri-State Board Member for the Spina Bifida Organization and an adjunct professor at New Jersey City University, Jersey City, NJ.

Budi S. Tan, Senior Vice President, Processing Services

Budi brings over 20 years expertise in the technology and network area to the company and has held senior level positions in four technology startups. Budi holds a BS in Computer Science and an MBA from the University of Georgia.

R. Lee Morris, Chief Financial Officer

Lee has 30 years experience as a chief financial officer with several companies within the technology community. Lee graduated with honors from Florida State University with a BS in accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, is a Charter Member of the Technology Executive Roundtable- CFO Forum, a member of the MIT Enterprise Forum, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who Among Rising Young Americans and Who’s Who Worldwide.

Peter J. Begley, Vice President, Client Services & Business Development

Peter brings to FleetRisk Advisors more than fifteen years of experience as a senior executive and entrepreneur, during which he has focused on the strategic and operational issues facing early stage, high growth companies. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Harvard University.

Christopher J. Orban, Vice President – Technical Services

Chris brings to FleetRisk Advisors more than ten years of experience in the Business Intelligence technology area. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College.
